Children up to 12 years of age are invited to register for a reading program at the Buena Park Library, 7150 La Palma Ave.
Children who read five books by Oct. 28 will receive a free meal at Hometown Buffet. Children participating in the program also are invited to a Halloween story time Oct. 28 at 2 p.m.
