Los Angeles King left wing Luc Robitaille will teach students the fine art of the slap shot and warn them of the dangers of drugs Monday when he visits students at Hollow Hills Fundamental School.
Robitaille’s visit is the grand prize of a raffle contest sponsored by Nestle and Smart & Final. Jeff Briggs, a student at the school, won the contest, which awarded as its top prize a hockey clinic by the NHL star.
Robitaille will teach the fifth- and sixth-grade students about hockey techniques, forms and strategy and give lessons about how to live a drug-free lifestyle.
The event runs from 1:45 to 2:30 p.m. at the school, 828 Gibson Ave.
