High-Rise Hike: Those attending the new season’s first shows at the Orange County Performing Arts Center and South Coast Repertory are finding that the cost of parking in the venues’ high-rise garages has risen from $6 to $7. It’s the first fee increase since 1995 at the garages, on both sides of Park Center Drive, said Stan Taeger, property manager of the structures. Taeger said he has received no complaints about the increase, which went into effect July 1. He cited increases in the minimum wage as the main reason for the hike.
