Man Shot to Death on Freeway in Carson

A young man was shot to death Friday night while driving east on the 91 Freeway in Carson, authorities said.
Responding to reports of shots at 8:40 p.m., Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies found a car crashed near Avalon Boulevard. Inside, a male in his 20s was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim’s identity was not released.
A sheriff’s spokesman said the shots were apparently fired from another car.
