Santiago Canyon Shuts Out San Diego in Men’s Soccer
Andy Pizano scored two goals to lead Santiago Canyon to a 6-0 victory over San Diego in a men’s soccer game at Santiago Canyon.
Goaltender Nick Adams made nine saves for Santiago Canyon (4-1-1).
In another nonconference game:
L.A. Harbor 3, Orange Coast 1--Dan Espinoza scored the lone goal for host Orange Coast (4-1-3) in the ninth minute.
Vincente Juarez tied it for L.A. Harbor in the 45th minute.
Salvador Diaz and Josh Smith had second-half goals for the Seahawks.
In nonconference women’s soccer:
Santa Ana 2, San Diego Mesa 1--Ana Velazquez scored two goals and Kristin Barbour made 10 saves as the Dons (4-2-3) won at home.
