The Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department is looking for a building to be transformed into a haunted house for Halloween.
Houses ready for demolition have been the sites of the spooky event the last three years, department Director Nancy Beard said. The building should be available for one week of preparation and a dress rehearsal the night before Halloween. Admission will be free. Information: (562) 431-2527, Ext. 325.
