Lawyers Leave Sedgwick to Launch Own Firm
Three partners from the Orange County office of multinational law firm Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold said Monday that they have resigned to establish their own practice.
Alan J. Freisleben, a 16-year Sedgwick veteran who founded the Orange County office, and colleagues Todd A. Picker and Lily Chow have joined with Mark D. Peterson to form Peterson, Picker, Chow & Freisleben LLP in Newport Beach. Peterson had been a partner in the Los Angeles office of Manatt, Phelps & Philips.
The new firm, which includes three associates, will concentrate on complex civil and business litigation, the partners’ area of specialization.
