Ventura 41, Simi Valley 0--Tyler Ebell rushed for 330 yards and four touchdowns in 12 carries for the Cougars at Simi Valley.
Ventura’s Andrew Lovier opened the scoring with 58-yard touchdown pass to Chris Foster in the first quarter. Ebell had touchdown runs of 75, eight, 82 and one yards. Ebell also had runs of 53 and 46 yards.
Simi Valley, in its first game under Coach Steve Carroll, was held to 130 yards offense.
