L.A. Marshall 27, Verdugo Hills 7--The Barristers spoiled the debut of Verdugo Hills Coach Darren Fitzgerald, rolling up 254 yards at Marshall.
Trailing, 14-0, late in the second quarter, Verdugo Hills scored its only points on a 24-yard pass play from Michael Tinker to Donte Carney.
