Valencia Man Dies After Being Injured in Motorcycle Crash

VALENCIA — A Valencia motorcyclist who was seriously injured in a head-on collision during the Labor Day weekend in Newhall has died.
Stuart Kucey, 42, was pronounced dead Sunday morning at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital in Valencia. Kucey’s younger sister, Tamara Kucey, 34, of Chicago, was killed in the crash. She was riding with her brother.
The accident occurred in Newhall late Saturday night as Stuart Kucey drove his Honda motorcycle north on San Francisquito Canyon Road north of Copper Hill Drive. Authorities said the motorcycle drifted to the other side of the road and was struck by an oncoming vehicle.
The driver of the other vehicle wasn’t injured.
