The city is donating 1,000 bottles of water to this year’s Youth Service Conference, Get Connected. The city’s library will supply books for a literacy project held in conjunction with the event.
The conference, sponsored by the Santa Ana-based Volunteer Center Orange County, will be held Friday. It will feature workshops, community-service opportunities, scholarship awards for teens who have performed outstanding service, and school- and teacher-of-the-year awards.
