Discussion on Mexico-U.S. Trade
Beginning Dec. 1, Mexico will be governed under a new political party for the first time in 71 years. What that political change of course means for trade between Mexico and the United States will be the topic of discussion Thursday when a member of the transition team transferring power from the long-ruling Institutional Revolutionary Party to upstart President-elect Vicente Fox addresses a meeting of the Foreign Trade Assn. of Southern California. The remarks by Gabriel Szekely, the transition team’s director of political affairs, are scheduled for noon at the downtown Los Angeles Marriott, 333 S. Figueroa St. For more information, call (213) 627-0634, ext. 204.
