Solving Sea Monkeys Mystery

I found Tamar Brott’s story fascinating (“The Sea Monkeys and the White Supremacist,” Oct. 1), but I had the feeling that I was reading one of those “minute mysteries” one has to solve. I realized it at the part where George Atamian, ExploraToy’s vice president, was unable to fax Brott a copy of Sea Monkeys inventor Harold von Braunhut’s letter because “the fax machine’s out of paper now.” A fax machine needs paper only to receive a fax, not to send one. Brott was justified in feeling put off.
