Community Outreach Meetings
The Los Angeles Unified School District is conducting a series of community meetings to select locations for 98 schools proposed in its building program.
The plan includes 45 primary centers, 26 elementary schools, seven middle schools, 16 high schools and four continuation high schools. In some cases the district has identified preferred sites.
The Times will publish the schedule weekly. This week’s meetings:

Location: John Adams Middle School auditorium,
151 W. 30th St., Los Angeles
Proposed project: Central L.A. New High School No. 2
Preferred site: Washington Boulevard and Vermont Avenue

Time: 7 p.m.
Location: Polytechnic High School auditorium,
12431 Roscoe Blvd., Sun Valley
Proposed project: East Valley New High School No. 1A
Preferred site: Roscoe Boulevard and Arleta Avenue

Time: 5 p.m.
Location: Dena Elementary School,
1314 Dacotah St., Los Angeles
Proposed project: Dena Primary Center
Preferred site: 2701 Olympic Blvd.
