A 25-year-old Westminster woman was arrested early Saturday after her car allegedly rear-ended a bicyclist who died from his injuries, Westminster police said.
Chau Au was booked on suspicion of felony drunk driving and manslaughter, authorities said.
The fatal accident occurred about 1:35 a.m. on McFadden Avenue, west of Oakcliff Drive, when Ray Clifford Quintero, 48, of Midway City, was hit from behind by a vehicle allegedly driven by Au.
Thrown off his bicycle and into the windshield, Quintero fell to the road.
He was transported to Huntington Beach Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Au was being held in the Orange County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
