Health Inspectors Close Restaurants
The following Ventura County establishments were closed recently after unsanitary conditions were identified by county Environmental Health Division inspectors. Information is as of Friday:
* Los Molcajetes Restaurant, 124 E. 5th St., Oxnard; unsanitary conditions; closed Tuesday and reopened Thursday.
* 7-Eleven Food Store, 1773 Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks; rodent infestation, unsanitary conditions; closed Oct. 18 and reopened Oct. 20.
* Johnny P’s, 951 S. Westlake Blvd., Suite 114/116, Westlake; cockroach infestation, unsanitary conditions; closed Oct. 17 and reopened Oct. 18.
* Europa Foods, 1750 Los Angeles Ave., Unit G, Simi Valley; flies, cockroach infestation, unsanitary conditions; closed Oct. 17 and reopened Oct. 18.
* Jack in the Box, 306 S. Palm Ave., Santa Paula; sewage overflowing within facility; closed and reopened Oct. 13.

Restaurants are permitted to reopen once the problems are fixed.
