The City Council today will decide whether to approve a $432,108 contract with PowerLight Corp. for the development of three photovoltaic systems to help power two police stations and a high school. The systems will use solar power to create enough energy to power 18 homes. Construction will begin next spring. The systems will be placed on top of the Harbor and Canyon police stations, as well as Anaheim High School.
