The city is adding four hours of daily transportation service for local seniors under a new contract approved by the City Council this week.
Under the agreement with Laidlaw Transit Service, a 17-passenger van will pick up seniors at various locations throughout La Palma starting at 10 a.m. and drive them to the Cypress Senior Center, arriving about 11:30 a.m. The van will return to the center at 1 p.m. to take the seniors to their pickup locations.
For information on a start date, contact the La Palma Recreation and Community Services Department at (714) 522-6740.
