Members of the Parks, Recreation and Equestrian Commission voted this week to ask homeowners near Avenida Evita if the private street can be used for a public trail.
The commission will recommend that the City Council contact the homeowners to ask them if they want to sign easement documents allowing public access. The council will probably consider the issue in December, said Tony Foster, city engineering assistant and trail coordinator. Information: (949) 493-1171.
