Trustees of the Westminster School District will discuss submitting a credential waiver for a preschool teacher at a meeting Thursday. The instructor was nominated to teach a special education class while she completes a credential program at National University.
Board members will also consider electing a representative to the nominating group of the County Committee for School District Organization.
The board will meet at 7 p.m. in the Board Room at 14121 Cedarwood Ave.
An appointed seat on the district’s Personnel Commission is open. The three-member commission conducts an annual salary survey, disciplinary and complaint appeal hearings for classified employees, and other similar matters.
Candidates must be registered voters and a resident in the district. Compensation includes $50 per meeting and health benefits.
Applications can be picked up at the district office at 14121 Cedarwood Ave. in Westminster or be printed from the district’s Web site at wsd.k12,ca.us. Forms must be returned by 4 p.m. Oct. 27.
