The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9557 and the Ladies Auxiliary are sponsoring a contest for local high school students.
Students can enter the Voice of Democracy Scholarship Contest with an audio essay expressing their views on “What Price Freedom?” All state winners will receive at least a $1,000 scholarship. The deadline is Nov. 1.
