The Friendly Center, a nonprofit group that helps low-income people, will hold a fund-raising dinner at 6 p.m. Oct. 25.
The Friendly Center offers food assistance, after-school care and tutoring programs for children, affordable housing and adult education classes mainly for Spanish-speaking adults. Cost of the dinner is $50 per person and business attire is required. The event will be at P.J.’s Abbey, 182 S. Orange St. Reservations or information: (714) 771-5300.
