EDUARDO LUCERO FASHION DESIGNER BALI

Bali is the only place where I’ve actually arrived and thought, “I would love to live here.” The backgrounds look like they’re painted. We stayed at the Four Seasons resorts, one next to the water and one next to the jungle. The one next to the jungle feels like you’ve entered Jurassic Park. The spirituality is incredible. Every night the people go to temples in full costume, with bright golds and yellows and reds. Also, in Bali there’s not really a name for artists because it’s so built into people’s nature. Everyone’s an artist. So, besides sarongs, you can find amazing woodwork, leather and silver jewelry.
DISCOVERY: There’s an amazing reptile farm where they allow you to pick up snakes and iguanas. Also bird sanctuaries and a monkey forest: a gigantic forest around all these temples inhabited by monkeys.
