Felando Web Site
One does not have to be of Asian descent to be offended by [GOP candidate] Gerald Felando’s Web site (“Web Site Prompts Claims of Racism in Assembly Contest,” Oct. 10). The stereotyping of one ethnicity is an assault on the humanity of all of us. The Los Angeles metropolitan area is the most culturally diverse community in the world. Clearly, there is room here for everyone, everyone except racists and bigots.
The sooner that we recognize the value of our diversity (and the truth that there is but one race, the human race) the stronger and more peaceful we will be. Those who should be most offended are members of the Republican Party, who so far have been shamefully silent.
