Standstill
Any wide-ranging motorist in the Los Angeles area must wonder about the apparent absence of interagency coordination with respect to the carpool lane work on the San Diego Freeway and the repaving of Sepulveda Boulevard in Sepulveda Pass.
To simultaneously tear up the pavement and add the visual distraction that such work evinces is madness redux. Tossing in sewer replacement work on southbound Pacific Coast Highway as well as private sector pipeline replacement on Woodley Avenue (a key north-south Valley arterial) brings us to a stupendous standstill.
Thanks for the memories Caltrans, Los Angeles Department of Transportation, related agencies and, lastly, Mobil--a one-word oxymoron.
Stop the world, I want to. . . . Oh nevermind, it’s done.
