Chromium 6
Re “Chromium in the Water Supply,” Letters to the Valley Edition, Sept. 24.
I agree wholeheartedly that there should be zero tolerance for known carcinogens in municipal water supplies. In the last sentence of his letter, the author states that “no wonder confidence in municipal water is low.” Is he aware that many bottled waters actually contain treated municipal water, comparable to what comes out of the tap?
