Chapman, winner of one of its five games and still reeling from a 41-17 loss to Redlands last week, won’t have it any easier tonight at 7 when it hosts Occidental.
Occidental (3-1), which lost to Chapman, 62-13, last season, has rebounded this year and leads the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
* Orange County’s community college football teams are off this week before they begin play in the Mission Conference’s Central Division next Saturday.
At the season’s midway point, the five teams have combined for a 4-21 record. Orange Coast is 2-3, Saddleback and Fullerton have 1-4 records and Golden West and Santa Ana are each 0-5.
