WOMEN’S SOCCER
Pepperdine 2, San Francisco 0--Tasha Spangler assisted on goals by April Blaker and Lacey Ubaldi in a West Coast Conference game at Pepperdine.
Lindsey Brouillette had three saves for the Waves (10-3-1, 1-2) and Jennifer Orantes had seven for San Francisco (6-7-1, 1-3).
Cal Lutheran 4, Pomona-Pitzer 0--Lauren Huckleberry, Betsy Fisch and Holly Martin scored first-half goals in a Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference game at Cal Lutheran (13-2, 8-0).
Fisch scored her team-leading 11th goal in the 20th minute and moved into a tie for eighth in career goals with 24.
Oxnard 1, Ventura 0--Norma Gutierrez scored on a direct kick from 30 yards 20 minutes into the game, and goalie Elba Campos and the defense repelled a second-half Pirate surge in a WSC Northern Division game at Ventura.
Oxnard (13-2-0, 6-2) moved into a first-place tie with Ventura (12-3-2, 6-2).
Campos made 15 saves, including 11 in the second half, when she stopped four breakaways.
MEN’S CROSS-COUNTRY
Mt. San Antonio College Invitational--Ross Wood of Moorpark finished eighth to pace the Raiders to a fourth-place finish.
Wood clocked 21:57 over the four-mile course to help Moorpark to a 104-point total.
WOMEN’S CROSS-COUNTRY
Mt. San Antonio College Invitational--Jody Hay and Jeanene Gerry finished second and third to pace Moorpark to second place.
Hay clocked 18:02 for three miles and Gerry timed 18:41.
