Oak Park 34, Carpinteria 3--Junior Monte McNair caught touchdown passes of 12 and 24 yards from Josh Walker and kicked two 24-yard field goals to lead host Oak Park (5-1, 1-0).
McNair kicked both field goals in the first half and added a 12-yard scoring reception as Oak Park took a 20-3 halftime lead. He had a 24-yard touchdown catch from Walker with 4:08 in the third quarter to give the Eagles a 27-3 lead. Walker completed 13 of 22 passes for 175 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.
Oak Park’s Eric Testan rushed 17 times for 74 yards and scored on a three-yard run in the first quarter. Gordy Hernandez of Carpinteria (2-3-1, 0-1) completed six of 18 passes for 147 yards.
Bishop Diego 17, Fillmore 6--The Cardinals (3-3) limited their opponent to six points for the third consecutive game at Bishop Diego.
Bishop Diego extended its 10-6 lead with a one-yard touchdown run by Aaron Sanchez in the fourth quarter. Sanchez rushed for 171 yards in 26 carries.
Brandon Chewning scored for Fillmore (0-5-1, 0-1) on a seven-yard pass from Jordon Arroyo in the second quarter. Arroyo completed 11 of 24 passes for 137 yards.
