Oxnard 26, Hueneme 12--Oxnard came up with big plays on offense, defense and special teams to surprise the Vikings at Hueneme.
Jason Parker had 265 all-purpose yards and scored three touchdowns for the Yellowjackets (2-4).
Parker scored on an 82-yard punt return midway through the first quarter. He also had a 30-yard touchdown reception from Tim Eglin in the first quarter and a 70-yard scoring reception from Eglin on the first play of the fourth quarter to give Oxnard a 20-12 lead.
Parker rushed for 71 yards in 11 carries and caught three passes for 112 yards.
Hueneme (4-2) rallied in the third quarter, capitalizing on two Oxnard turnovers. Leslie Lee scored on a one-yard run and Dwayne Taylor caught a 15-yard touchdown pass from Gordy Pinedo to pull the Vikings to within 14-12 at the end of the third quarter.
Oxnard recovered three fumbles and made one interception.
