Servite 41, Alemany 10--The Indians could not stop the rushing of Lamar Mason and Justin Domineck, who combined for 446 yards and three touchdowns at Alemany.
Mason, who rushed for 239 yards in 20 carries, scored on runs of 33 and 13 yards in the first quarter, but Alemany answered early in the second quarter when A.J. Anthony hit fullback Albert Griffin with a three-yard scoring pass on fourth down to make the score 14-7.
Alemany (2-4) twice squandered scoring opportunities in the first quarter. Anthony had a pass intercepted at the Servite 20 and the Friars blocked a 34-yard field-goal attempt.
Servite (5-1), which rushed for 530 yards, scored 27 points unanswered points.
Domineck, who rushed for 207 yards in 13 carries, scored a 13-yard screen pass from Adam Ernst with 25 seconds before halftime for a 26-7 lead. Domineck scored late in the third quarter on a 63-yard run and Ernst capped a fourth-quarter drive with a one-yard sneak for a 41-7 lead.
De’Andre Scott gained 73 yards in 17 carries for Alemany. Scott played despite back pain in the second half.
