In other Valley Mission League openers:
San Fernando 32, Reseda 7--Will German ran for two one-yard touchdowns and the Tigers scored 32 consecutive points at San Fernando.
San Fernando (4-2) overcame three turnovers in the first seven minutes. Kurtis Godfrey of Reseda had two interceptions, including a 25-yard touchdown return on the first play from scrimmage.
The Regents (1-5), who finished with 95 yards and only three in the second half, mounted only one threat.
The Tigers scored three touchdowns in the second quarter, including a three-yard run by Randy Lang with 57 seconds before the half for a 20-7 lead.
Bobby Stanley had 79 yards in nine carries and opened San Fernando’s scoring with a one-yard run early in the second quarter.
German had 69 yards in 12 carries.
Ruben Nevarez of San Fernando completed 10 of 23 passes for 134 yards, including a 27-yard touchdown pass to Ramon Perry early in the fourth quarter for a 26-7 lead.
