A children’s fishing derby sponsored by the Los Alamitos/Seal Beach Rotary Club will be held at the pier from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday. The annual event is open to children 15 and younger and features prizes for the biggest and most unusual catches. Information: (562) 431-9400.
