The Santa Ana Unified School District board tonight will consider plans for building a student drop-off zone at Taft Elementary on Keller Avenue.
A group of parents and neighbors of the school organized a demonstration Wednesday, national Walk Your Child to School Day, to show their concern over traffic in the neighborhood and child safety. The board also will hear an update on the district’s bond measure projects, consider replacing air-conditioning and roofs at several campuses, review graduation requirements for high school seniors and consider names for future schools.
The board will meet at 7 p.m. at the district headquarters, 1601 E. Chestnut Ave. Information: (714) 558-5555.
