Buena Park Junior High School students are participating in a Rain Forest Adopt an Acre project to protect insects, plants and animals of the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica. The students are selling T-shirts with an environmental message for $13.50. Students are also learning about the importance of rain forests.
Last year, the school raised enough money to help protect 62.8 acres of Costa Rica rain forest. Information: (714) 522-8491.
