BUENA PARK
The City Council on Tuesday is expected to discuss bus transportation for seniors to and from their homes for lunch at the Buena Park Senior Center.
The Orange County Transportation Authority now runs the buses, but may discontinue the service next year. The funding would, instead, be handed over to the city, giving it more flexibility in scheduling transportation for seniors, said OCTA spokesman George Urch. City officials said they intend to continue the daily lunch-bus service.
