Importers, exporters and business owners looking to tap into international trade are invited to a conference today on opportunities in global commerce. Speakers at the Southern California International Trade Conference will include trade specialists from the public and private sectors. Among the topics of discussion are doing business with China, Mexico and Europe, financing and arranging the logistics of shipments. The event, sponsored by the Port of Los Angeles, the Economic Alliance of the San Fernando Valley, and other groups, is scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Hilton Universal City.
