Flu-Shot Clinic Gets Fresh Supply
Additional deliveries of influenza vaccine will allow the Orange County Health Care Agency to resume a flu-shot clinic in San Juan Capistrano.
“Vaccine has arrived in sufficient supply to allow us to resume offering flu shots, and it has arrived before the peak of the influenza season,” said Dr. Mark Horton, an Orange County health officer. “We will continue to offer the flu shots while the vaccine supply lasts.”
San Juan Capistrano’s clinic, aimed at the elderly and those at higher risk of influenza-related complications due to chronic diseases, pregnancy or other medical conditions, will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at 27512 Calle Arroyo. (800) 564-8448.
