Xerox Corp. has reached an agreement worth $310 million to provide Kinko’s Inc. of Ventura with more than 2,000 of Xerox’s digital color products, high-speed digital printers and black-and-white digital multi-function machines.
The two contracts are among the largest ever for Xerox and secure the company’s position as Kinko’s primary supplier of color and monochrome printing and publishing equipment for Kinko’s locations across the United States and Canada.
The $20-million color deal builds upon a previously secured $290-million contract.
“For more than 30 years, Xerox and Kinko’s have forged a partnership built on common values, including quality and continuous innovation,” said Mike MacDonald, president of Xerox North American Solutions Group.
Installation of the monochrome equipment is underway. Installation of the color products will begin immediately.
Kinko’s has more than 1,000 locations, offering 24-hour access to color printing, finishing and presentation services, Internet access and videoconferencing.
