After nine weeks of being outgained, outscored, outplayed and mostly humiliated, Glendale and Hoover get a well-deserved break.
In one of the state’s longest-running series, the cross-town rivals will meet for the 72nd time tonight in a Pacific League game at Glendale.
Hoover won last season, 21-10, but Glendale leads the series, 40-29-2.
Both teams are seeking their first victory of the season. Both have allowed exactly 381 points. Glendale averages 7.6 points a game, Hoover 6.0.
You pick ‘em.
