7 TONIGHT HUNTINGTON BEACH HIGH
Orange County didn’t need BCS rankings to pit its top two teams against one another; all it took was a little luck in scheduling. It’s only fitting that Edison and Esperanza play to decide the Sunset League title considering the way they manhandled their league foes. The game will be a battle between two top running backs: Esperanza’s Temitope Sonuyi and Edison’s Darryl Poston. Sonuyi is the county’s leading rusher, while Poston has excelled recently after injuries limited his production earlier this season. Charger defender A.J. Martinez leads the county with eight interceptions.
