The City Council approved an agreement with Bundy-Finkel Architects to provide the preliminary design services for the proposed Intergenerational Community Center at its meeting Thursday night.
Richard Finkel, a principal with the architecture firm, has been a volunteer with the Intergenerational Community Center Committee for nearly a year. The committee has worked on a plan of the types of services and facilities residents would like at the center as well as projections for the overall costs.
The agreement will pay Bundy-Finkel $30,500 for the preliminary design work. The firm may also bill the city for up to $3,000 in direct expenses related to the project.
