Bernal to Play Ice Hockey at Wisconsin

Jessica Bernal, a senior at Chatsworth High, has accepted a women’s ice hockey scholarship to Wisconsin.
Bernal, a goalie, plays for the West Valley midget boys’ team in North Hills.
BASEBALL
* Outfielder Bill Susdorf of Hart, The Times’ Valley player of the year last season, visited UCLA on Saturday and is expected to shortly announce his college choice, with the Bruins leading contenders.
SOFTBALL
* The fifth adult Turkey tournament is set for Nov. 12 and the second Christmas tournament is set for Dec. 2 at Castaic Sports Complex.

* The Southern California Diamonds’ 18-and-under team will host a men’s novice slow-pitch tournament on Nov. 19 at Oxnard Softball Complex.

TENNIS
* Pepperdine’s men’s team will conduct a free junior clinic at 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 12 at Ralphs-Strus Tennis Center in Malibu.
The Southern California Regional Collegiate Championships, featuring Pepperdine, USC, UCLA and Arizona State, will follow.
