Antelope Valley 39, Victor Valley 27--The Marauders scored 22 consecutive points in the second half in a Foothill Conference game at Antelope Valley.
Trailing, 21-10, at halftime, Antelope Valley (4-5, 3-4) forged to a 22-21 lead on a 15-yard scoring strike from Cory Allred to Jerome Wright with 5:11 left in the third quarter.
Allred, who completed 22 of 38 passes for 255 yards, gave the Marauders a 35-21 lead with a 33-yard scoring pass to Devon Stewart early in the fourth quarter. Stewart caught six passes for 111 yards.
Running back David Newton scored on runs of 13 and one yard, and Chris Starling booted field goals of 37 and 23 yards.
The Rams (0-8, 0-6) led, 21-10, following touchdown receptions of 24, 81 and 11 yards by Darnell Crowder.
He finished with seven receptions for 157 yards.
Sean Peterson completed 21 of 41 passes for 329 yards with four interceptions for Victor Valley, which lost for the 25th consecutive time.
