R.J. Bowers ran for 128 yards to become the first player in NCAA history to rush for 7,000 yards in his career as Grove City beat Carnegie Mellon, 14-10. Bowers also set an NCAA all-division record for career points with 550, breaking the record of 544 set by Brian Shay of Emporia State in 1998. Bowers, who broke Shay’s all-division NCAA career rushing record last week, has 7,127 yards.
