The Orange Unified School District approved three new fall courses Thursday night. Advanced media technology will be a semester course open to 10th-, 11th- and 12th-graders with advanced skills in video production and who have previously taken media technology. Leadership will be a yearlong elective for eighth-graders who have served as an elected Associated Student Body officer or have been recommended by all of the student’s seventh-grade teachers. Media writing and production will be a semester elective open to 10th-, 11th- and 12th-graders who have taken media technology and passed a writing proficiency exam.
