Free household, garden and automotive supplies will be available at the grand opening next Tuesday of the county’s newest Stop and Swap.
The program is at a county waste collection center, 17121 Nichols St.
You can find everything from partially used motor oil, antifreeze, pesticides, as well as fertilizers, paint, furniture polish and floor cleaners at the Stop and Swap.
When residents use the products, the county avoids the high costs for treatment and disposal.
The Huntington Beach Stop and Swap will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
