* Allow me to register my sincere appreciation of Myrna Oliver’s work on the obit pages. With her obvious humor and humanity, she has transformed what is typically a soulless litany of unrelated facts about a stranger’s life into a rather poignant biographical sketch. I never met Tommy Thompson. But after reading Oliver’s March 8 piece I sure wish I had.
