Mayor Outraged at Photos of Nude Women

BAKERSFIELD — A series of photographs in an adult-oriented magazine featuring naked or semi-naked women at several city landmarks has Mayor Bob Price hot under the collar.
The May 2000 edition of the magazine Hometown Girls includes photos of two women posing at a variety of locations, including the Bakersfield sign and City Hall.
“It disgusted me,” said Price.
The mayor said he has asked police and the district attorney’s office to look into whether prosecutions could be brought for indecent exposure or possible use of minors.
