Westlake def. Littlerock, 15-8, 15-10, 15-5--Ryan Foltz had 10 kills, Chris Gleason had nine kills and five blocks, and Wade Carr had nine kills for the Warriors (6-0) in a nonleague match at Westlake.
San Marcos def. Ventura, 15-13, 15-10, 15-13--Jared Godinez had 13 kills and 17 assists for the Cougars (2-2, 0-1) in a Channel League match at San Marcos.
Rio Mesa def. Hueneme, 8-15, 15-11, 15-17, 15-9, 15-9--The Spartans rallied from an 8-3 deficit in the fourth game to win a Pacific View League opener at Hueneme.
Thomas Saxey had 15 kills, David Kanongataa had 13 kills and eight blocks, and Matt Rockwell added 13 kills for Rio Mesa (2-2).
Chaminade def. Saugus, 15-4, 13-15, 15-9, 15-9--Adam Hickerson had 27 kills and 17 digs, and Po Jocas added 53 assists and 14 digs for the Eagles (2-0) in a nonleague match at Chaminade.
GIRLS’ TRACK
Rio Mesa 83, Oak Park 41, Buena 35--Porchea Carroll, a junior, won three individual events and ran on a winning relay team to lead the Spartans (2-0) to victory in the nonleague meet at Rio Mesa.
Carroll, who will compete in the 60-meter dash and the long jump in the Nike Indoor Classic at the University of Indiana on Sunday, won the 100 in 11.98, the 200 in 24.95 and the long jump in 17-11.
She also ran on Rio Mesa’s 400 relay team that clocked 50.3.
